    Bulleit do a very pleasant Rye Whiskey too. Good in a Manhattan. Also check out Rabbit Hole Distillery’s Boxergrail Rye. Delicious as a sipper.

    My sis-in-law, who is a dental surgeon swears by a dessert spoon of salt in boiling water. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with it as soon as it’s cool enough to tolerate. It has worked well for me many times.

    Waterproof jacket recommendations

    I’ve just had my 20+ year old Arcteryx Alpha SV reproofed & seam taped. It’s a great coat & shows almost no signs of wear. Downside is it cost a small fortune back in the day! I think there’s a Arcteryx Beta SV in the sales section here at a very tempting price. Worth a look.
