TDI power is a mixed blessing in a series motor. Superb to drive but horribly loud and rattly. I'm currently rebuilding a 2.25 petrol engine to go back in my series 3 for the sake of my hearing. It's my every day driver. Need to see pictures too.

For me it's the smell of mud baking on the exhaust of a 2 stroke trials bike. Invariably takes me back 30 years (or more) to a well spent youth.

Tang is quite stiff and was planning a bit of a gap for the epoxy between it and the leather. Peened end on butt plate. Cheers folks. Seems I'm on the right track.

Just a quick question for the collective mind. What's the best glue to use between leather "washers" for a stacked leather Puukko handle? I'm thinking a smear of slow set epoxy but am open to better suggestions. Cheers all. Rik.
