S' funny........you don't hear or see a lot about this bag, and not a lot about viable serious winter alternatives to down bags? Allbeit heavier and bulkier than a down equivalent, I for one really like it, especially as it can be customized to suit? (length/width, etc..)

The Ionosphere......stealthy, very weathproof, light and small to pack, loads of room for 6'4" me and a pack............

Alas no Long....which would just do....with a L size....:-(

As new, and unused. In hopefully mint condition. Complete with yoke for joining/carrying the 2, 15 litre "rocket" pouches if wished. Very impressive pack, bought for a trip which never happenned , hence for sale. As information is all over the web and U tube , I won't duplicate it all here, but...

The Snugpak Bergen is a lighter weight civilian bergen, but is plenty strong enough in my experience.....unless you are going to repeatedly drop it from a helicopter down a mountain scree? It's lighter weight for most normal people would be a boon?;)

Much prefer the Saracen..........(I have the smaller Sting; fabulous pack albeit in camo.....) For a lighter but similar pack to the Crusader, there are the Snugpak Rocketpack (70 litre) and Bergen (100 litre).....?

I don't have expensive kit, but I am slowly getting my pack weight down from nearly 25 kg (that was fun!!) to about 15kg. Carrying water is the thing I hate. And yes I use synthetic sleeping bags.....

Much prefer hooped bivvy to the basic sack. Much easier to use and I prefer a side to a top entry; and more comfortable/weather resistant....losing out some ultimate portability? (I have the Snugpak Stratosphere) Prefer to either the Snugpak Ionosphere, more a bivvy/tent crossover?
