I watched a YouTube video the other day and the guy said, "everyone wants to be a minimalist, until it's time to be a minimalist!" which I thought was quite good.
Have also heard it said that there are bushcrafters and bushcampers... So maybe minimalist is a wrong term these days, maybe...
That's not a bad idea as a first meet up, from there we can judge numbers etc and potentially arrange further meets.. Woody girl you arent as green as your cabbage looking good call
Never met him but one of my best friends, also deceased was a good friend of his.
Along with Mors the big bushcraft forest in the sky is starting to get some real characters.
And another clear out item.
Harkila wool shirt xl... Brown plaid pattern with olive green wool liner.
Very warm, worn, and to big for me now.
Traditional British pocket knives wanted but open to offers.
Thanks
Anybody want to trade a Lk35 complete and or a Lk70 frame with belt but no shoulder straps?
Obviously postage will be a killer so bare that in mind.
Open to offers but I've just started collecting traditional British pocket knives so a couple of those would be ideal make and model depending...
Interesting question, I'd go with my standard,
Lowa mountain boots
Wool socks
British army lightweights
Merino base layer
Wool sweater
Barbour Beaufort jacket (with arms removed
Swanndri Mosgiel
Wool flat cap
Fleece snood
Wool mitts
And if I could get away with it a wool poncho too
Nice one Ethan, well done. You picked a nice part of the moors and sounds like you dodged the worst weather. Although coming from the landof the Scots your probably hardy enough for our balmy moorland weather.
So the clear out continues, I have several knives for trade or sale. Happy to do individually or en masses.
Knives are -
1. Butcher/trader knife with a mountain man sheath.
2. Ka-Bar Bowie
3. Martin I Lynx with a carved and pyrographed handle.
4. Wood jewel survival puukoo
5. Karesundo Galten...
