Hi all,a friend of mine would like to get into hammoking and has be looking at the nomad hammock sleep system.Has any body have any experience with them.I use a hennessy explorer deluxe,but he was looking fir a cheaper option,are they a-sym or do you sleep in them the same way as say a dd...

I use a Dutch hook at one end of my continuous zing it ridge line,with a stinger attached to the other end of the tarp.And I love it,quick and easy for a strong tight ridge line.I also have a few flyz about and a couple of spare hooks.I probably be ordering a couple of Dutch clips for easy tree...

Why not shoot the fish with a bow n arrow.or even just spear the fish when they are attracted in.Washing the rotten meat in there water sorce is just madness.

I can lend you my army issue bivi bag next time mate,just so you can try a night without the tent.Pitch the tarp right and you will be just fine,I have done it many a time it's great when your laying there and the local foxes run passed ;)

Lovely looking dog,I had a boarder collie that look just like her when he was a pup,we called him mutely he he he lol.he was a great dog loved running around the fields chasing rabbits,just an all round good dog.You will have some great adventures with him.I used to take my dog I have now...

I love my alpkit 650 multi mug and kraku stove,great for making your coffee in the morning.I hang mine from my ridge line of my hammock so in the morning I reach up grab it and make my coffee from me hammock:) Happy days.I also have one of there filo down jackets and I love it,walking the dog...

North of the sun is a good book and a true story,I think you can still get it for a penny.Great read.all about Alaskan trapping and gold prospecting and a lot more.
