Now that whole Mollething looks good!!
Really like it. Especially the ones on the front should be useful. I noticed during use that I want to keep the lid free from clutter, but I also want a first aid kit ready ti use.
Ohh and I replaced the shoulderstraps too.
I got slapped on the wrist for being "overly critical" and ever since I have not been able to get access.
Have not been banned though, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to help with the problem either.
It's not a lifethreatening situation, but there were a number of decent folks there. Feels...
Gunnar Rundgren, a man with quite impressive credentials, wrote a book and keeps a blog on that very subject. "The global eating disorder"
He has some very interesting, insightful and confronting things to say....

I think it should be kept in mind that many a farmer is caught in a debt-trap.
He has loaned money to upgrade his farm or machines, but in order to pay for the loans he must have a decent harvest THIS SEASON. Many a farmer is overloaned, so they need more land in order to raise cropsales. In...

Around these parts is is generally not acceptable in the outdoor community. Period. Private land or not, but the unwritten rules of outdoor behaviour state that you don't.

Very nice work indeed, Hamish! Looks real good!
However.... a few remarks of an aesthetic nature; the flaps for closing the sidepockets etc. look shoddy/not finished/not on the same exquisite level as the rest of the pack. They are a colour mismatch too, looking at the dark brown and the reddish...
This sin't a discussion on what is bushcraft and what is not.
This post is meant as a instigator to learn the basics. Mastering them and you can light a fire almost everywhere.
If you don't mind carrying the weight, I suggest one of these...... although technically maybe not completely legal...
Nope, not a genius. Just using my brain. Common sense it's called, I think.
True Laurentius, but such a tin in a decent size, does add to the weight carried.
And is only useable as intended. Very little room to "manoeuvre" if you know what I mean
But a very good idea nonetheless. I made several...
Not just a tinder source. But be careful. It burns quite fiercely and the flames are not always equally visible.
I just stuffed one into my nose, when I had a pretty bad nosebleed after someone released a branch into my face. Looks stupid, but it does what it is designed to do. :)
