Keela Munro vs Paramo Alta III jacket - your views?

The bentu is my current favourite paramo so much so I have them in both blue and green lol bought both fleece and jacket in both colours 90% of the time it's all I wear these days my paramo halcon will come out when the weather gets colder and wetter but the bentu is more than enough for most of...

Keela Munro vs Paramo Alta III jacket - your views?

I've had a Munro in the past and have the Alta 2 and most other paramo jackets because I like them lol, the Munro is good very tough and very durable but didn't breathe well for me (I run hot too) plus like other goretex jackets it rustled like a crisp bag ;) the paramos I find initially a bit...

    Safety Shoes

For the times I need to wear safety shoes instead of boots (meetings etc) I wear dr martens http://www.drmartens.com/uk/p/industrial-shoes-fine-haircell-2216-pw They're smart enough to wear with a suit but comfortable all day long

    Norrona Recon Jacket

Keela Munro is a superb jacket especially considering the price personally I only wear paramo these days as they don't rustle and I find they breathe better than any of the goretex/event fabrics for me but everyone's different in that regard with some finding paramo too warm.

Costco, Packable Down Duvrt, jackets and such like

Yes you need a membership for Costco (£25/y I think) or go with an existing member, I picked up a few of the down quilts and they're pretty good for the money I'd certainly recommend them. Pack down small and loft up pretty well my idea was to take my 3 season hammock bag/ quilt up to 4 season...

We haven't paid it for a few years now after a very threatening letter arrived because we where a couple of weeks late renewing due to us being away, we never watch the tv aside from Netflix, prime etc for the kids. Once we received said threatening letter I started the research on whether we...

UKhammocks top quilt and other problems

Reading this has just made me hold off on my order for a woodsman x along with top and underquilt, I may take a punt on the woodsman but certainly not on the quilts at those prices if these issues are becoming more common.

    Paramo Losing The Plot?

I've got or have had most paramo jackets (yes I have a fetish for them :0 ) my absolute favourites are the velez smock (original one) the halcon and the newer bentu combo especially the green one one of the most versatile jackets I've ever owned and easy to stow either fleece or windproof when...

    Sleeping bag recommendations

Any chance you have the dimensions of your wiggys bag compressed down? I'm looking at them, weight isn't a big issue for me but packable size is sometimes, I know they'll be bigger than the latest greatest down but how much? For the robustness it may well be a price worth paying.

    Big Boots

Best thing to do is get to a decent boot shop somewhere like here http://www.whalleyoutdoor.co.uk If they're close enough or similar nearer to you that way you will definitely get something perfect for YOU, as my gran said always spend money on your shoes and your bed if you're not in...

    Sleeping bag recommendations

Any pictures of a wiggys bag compressed down? They sound as versatile as the old buffalo system but I'm not sure on size packed, weight doesn't bother me too much I'd rather carry a bit extra and be comfortable (this goes for my belly too ;) ) and not worried about an accident but it's the...
