    Selling info needed , thanks

With regards to royal mail. You need to label the package as a bladed article making sure any sharp bits are protected. It also needs to be sent via the age verification system. This costs around £6.40 for 48 hour delivery or £7.07 for 24 hour delivery

Too hot for me and Mimi, so a paddle in Costers Brook

It’s amazing where trout can get to and be found. I used to carry out fish surveys and some of the places you would find then were unbelievable. I’ve even found them in ditches at the edge of fields.

    Sold Sloyd for new carvers

I quickly forged up this Sloyd. Unfortunately other orders take priority. I currently do not have the time to tidy it up and make it pretty. From a working point of view it is finished though. I would like to see it go to someone who is going to use it rather than sitting in the back of my...

Sold Puronvarsi Puukko -Curly Birch Handle & Moose Bolster w/Taco Sheath

Hopefully some one will buy that soon. At that price it’s a real bargain for the work that is involved in making a puukko. Lovely knife scruff.

    Blade ID help please!

Not always. It’s basically a welsh carving tool for creating hollow shapes.

    What did you buy today?

I recommended it because it’s the same brand I’d personally would buy Benromach 10 or their cask strength. It has similar notes to Aberlour

    Blade ID help please!

Looks similar to a twca cam.

    What did you buy today?

I wouldn’t waste your money on the 12. It’s chill filtered and heavily diluted to 40%. Invest in their a'bunadh. That way you can dilute it to your own taste and it’s a far better quality product.

    Wynter Hunter

They all have a harpoon point, looking back it’s just not very noticeable in the first photos. It helps create a thinner area on the knife to assist with penetration. All handles are stabilized birch Burl but that one I added stain to it and sanded some of it away. It soaks into some of the...
