My view is that membership to BCUK comes with tights and obligation. The same as any other organisation. Respect is earned and good will takes time to build.

Why not just accept its an hour fast and adjust the time with a simple bit mental arithmetic. Alternatively at least you wont be late.
It’s about time they stopped playing with daylight saving time and just stuck with GMT.
I think on the rare occasions I use my Afghan pot. The issue is lead contamination would be minimal. Everyday use several times daily might be more worrying.
