Hi Samon, it doesn't have the original iron sights. If I remember rightly they were removed when the scope was fitted. It shoots straight and it's put a fair bit of meat on the table over the years.
Hi Guys
I've just inherited my dads old air rifle so I thought I'd pass on my Webley Vulcan.
The gun is about 15 ish years old and had a new spring fitted a few years ago as it was a bit down on power. It also has a Nikkostirling 3-9x40 scope.
I mainly used it for shooting pigeons and rabbits...
My wife and I are hoping to take our overland vehicle to the arctic circle next year providing we get the truck built in time. We're thinking we'll take a couple of months off to complete the trip so we can take our time and not have to rush. Really can't wait, I love a good road trip.
I guess the next question will be how long do you camp out for?
I heard your not a real bushcrafter until you've spent a year living off the land and you've hit 10,000+ posts on the forum :)
They're brilliant, I saw some bigger ones at a Christmas market a few years ago they were about 2 foot tall for £25. I decided to make an even bigger one for the mrs then several friends and family wanted one.
No problem. The woods are common land so the access is free however you would need special permission to camp/light a fire. We were able to camp there and have a fire due to one of the group owning a property in the village and but he still had to get special permission from someone, not sure...
There use to be a group in that area that had meet ups in Sparkford woods but it fizzled out. My wife and I use to go along periodically when we lived in that area. I notice now most of the people that were part of that group don't come onto the forum either anymore but there must be more...
We don't have a TV at home but when I stay in hotels with work I usually just put on the travel channel. They normally show a Ray program and another program based in Alaska most evenings I've found.
That's grand, I'll also see if I've got anything to patch it with. I'm not really fussed about the type of fabric to be honest the problem I have is that I'm so use to putting stuff in the pocket I forget its got a hole in it. I'll bring them along and see what you think. Thanks again for your...
I have a burn hole in the lower pocket of my Fjallraven trousers it measures about an inch diameter, would this be something you'd be able to patch? Only problem is I'm only at the moot for three days the 11th till the 13th.
Yeah the petrol engines can be really thirsty, I’ve heard people saying they’re getting under 20MPG. With the Diesel engine I’m running (1.9 TD AAZ) I’m getting 30-35 MPG which is about the same if not a little better than my Defender.
Yeah thats right the 4x4 system was made by Puch. Maybe parts are more easily attainable now or he wasn't looking in the right places. I'm not to familiar with petrol Syncros as I run a diesel. Is he is running a different engine to standard as thats quite common in a lot of the vans. If he's...
