    Jack-By-The-Hedge Alliaria petiolata

It's a relatively light garlic flavour (compared to Ramson) so it works well with more subtle flavour main dishes. Stuffed into fish can work well for instance.

    Wintermoot 2022 Video

It's an Alter fire. if you Google it there are loads of styles. just a table strong enough to support the weight of the sand on the top acting as the insulator. Really stops the back from complaining.

    Wintermoot 2022 Video

Looking great George certainly no reason to go hungry there. I was only able to go for a day and managed to avoid the camera but it was a great atmosphere. Well done everyone.

I think some of the leather suppliers can do bits of kydex furniture. There are some places that specialise in it too. Have a google search.

    Millbank bag alternative idea

Truth is any kind of filter is better than nothing. pouring it through your fingers to remove leaves is better than not! But, the finer the material in the filter, the more debris will be removed. As you say, none of the options provide drinking water as it will still need to be treated in some...

Making a sling for a Woodlore neck sheath (picture heavy)

Some time ago i made a different style of Baldric sling. Baldrick 1 by Mark Aspell, on Flickr Kangeroo leather. 12 strand flat braid over the shoulder turning into round braid and then slowly decreasing to 8 strand at the sheath. the strands are then worked into the 4 turks head knots on the...

    Elastoplasts

I have used this sort of thing in the past https://www.safetyfirstaid.co.uk/wound-care/salvequick-nonsterile-textile-xl-plastercd58a/ as you detach the plaster one end is uncovered and ready to stick to skin. in practice i found they worked OK but became unsticky quicker than standard plasters...

are ridgeline monsoon classic smocks any good

I have a couple of the Ridgeline coats. One full length zip and the other over the head smock. Both are full size/ weight coats. It's true the material doesn't breath as well as other materials. It's also true they can get hot if working in them. They are, though, a hard working and fully...

    Subaru Outback?

Mine has been regularly serviced, not sure what is covered on a minor/ major service. I've had no problems with the engine at all. The problems I've had are either driver error or the battery needs replacing because it hasn't moved much in the last 2 years (covid) and the cold weather is...
