    Vacuum cleaner recommendation?

I use a 7 year old titan with power taken off from Screwfix, still going strong and sucks like a sucky thing! I made the boss get one a couple of years ago and they have changed the design a little bit still good for the price. Top tip for workshop vacs - throw away the paper bags before use...

    Hammock advice/ tips

Seriously though, getting out of a gathered end hammock is much less perilous than stretcher bar? hammock. Throw your legs over the edge whilst your backside is still relatively central to the hammock.

    Why a Swiss Army Knife.

Why a swiss army knife? Well the majority of them comply with UK carry laws and are seen as more socially acceptable than a leatherman for example. I do not carry a Swiss army knife when I am at work, preferring a leatherman. Opposite when not at work.

    Coppicing

Whilst your 2-3 meter wide nature trail should indeed be kept free of trip hazards, there should be no expectation that any woodland is trip hazards free at all. What are you going to do - go and pick up every fallen branch and strim down every but of bramble?

    Brewing coffee?

I also use an aero press - easy to store, easy to brew (upside down), easy to clean. Makes a good brew. What more could you want?

    Medical scenarios

When I did my efaw+f course we were told that you tighten it until tight, then tighten it until the casualty was screaming. The trainer was an ex firearms copper who had done it for real, and had it done to him.

Question to owners of the Leatherman Signal

Wow, that knife blade is really thick! I've been looking at these myself, trying to weigh up the signal Vs the mut as a work tool. Still undecided...

    Cabin sized baggage

Did they actually say it was "too tactical looking"? Surely if it fits in the template it can go as a carry on? I had no problems taking a rush 12 as carry on.

    RATS!

As BR said, remove food sources, remove/block/disturb nesting sites. If you think that they are in the wood pile, move or disturb the wood pile. Do that every few days and the rats will get the idea. Do you know anyone that keeps ferrets? Is there a pet shop that might have ferrets near you...

    Home Security Cameras on Amazon

If a delivery driver was to complain about such a thing, my argument would be "how many cameras have you been recorded on just making your way to work this morning, before even picking up my package?"
