    A.I Created images and video

The way people seem to be embracing AI and assistive technology it's like no-one ever watched Terminator or 2001: A Space Odyssey!

Given you have my favourite western as the 2nd best I'm going to have to look out for Tombstone. Agree on The Commitments as well. Fantastic musical film. I'm going to offer two suggestions. Kodachrome. Green Book. Both good stories, quite emotional, great casts and very nicely done. Both...

    Dowsing

Seems I'm the same as a few others. Very sceptical, but have done it myself and it has worked. Never had it demonstrated but tried it myself in my engineering workshop with a pair of bent welding rods. Even used two empty biro cases to try and stop subconscious influence. News sources

The BBC has its own biases. Of course, so do I! It's always good to cross check news stories even when coming from 'reputable' sources. One thing I will say for the BBC is they rarely publish direct falsehoods, unlike the billionaire owned press, but most stories do have an editorial slant.

Hudson's Bay Company being wound up?

    Wool Blanket

I'm a big fan of these guys. https://thebritishblanketcompany.com/ Not cheap but they have a wide variety of sizes, colours, weaves etc and it's supporting a British company. We currently have 3 of their blankets and also 3 of their scarves. As the old saying goes, you'll love the quality long...

Two decades evidence of Birch tapping.

Is it possible that it is the amount of sap taken that is causing the issue rather than the method of plugging?

I read that thread with great interest and admired the tenacity of the OP.

The Crime and Policing Bill 2025

The line 'lawfully on any premises' is one that stands out to me. If the Police ever ask to enter your house and you have (currently legal to own) knives tell them no.

    What colour emergency strobe light?

This is a known phenomenon. The advice generally given to cyclists is to use both a flashing and steady on light for the exact reasons you mention.
