I can 100% vouch for that, spent a week roughing it on a caye off Belize. Mate and I were pretty much bathing in skin so soft, sand flies didn’t touch us. A lot of the other lads were eaten alive. It was way more effective than Deet.

Evening, Devils advocate here. Sterile items have a shelf life, it’s displayed on the packaging. Other items also have shelf lives as they degrade over time and may be less effective. Do you know the shelf life of what’s in your kit? Bearing in mind it has been removed from the sterile packaging...
Huge fan of your work John, apologies if teaching you to suck eggs, but have you tried doing a sailmakers whipping? Easier than it looks. Twine coated in beeswax is the way.
