Had to make an ice breaking tool today as the lochs on the reserve and farm where I work are getting covered in ice and the ornamental Cayuga ducks got stranded the other day.
My first thought is that it looks like a very strange butter pat :confused:.
The more I look though I seem to remember seeing something kind of similar that was used for stretching webbing on antique chairs... could be very wrong though :D

Funny I've just backed two patches with 50 mm OD Velcro and stuck them on my day sac today. Seems to work well enough and looks great :cool:.

I was at the Perth one and really enjoyed it :) .
I agree, not as much content as the last one I attended but still good, the host could have been better perhaps someone more into Bushcrafty stuff perhaps.
