    Got any snow yet?

    Good dusting of snow here in Angus and cold too. Had to make an ice breaking tool today as the lochs on the reserve and farm where I work are getting covered in ice and the ornamental Cayuga ducks got stranded the other day.

    Does anyone have an idea what this is for?

    My first thought is that it looks like a very strange butter pat :confused:. The more I look though I seem to remember seeing something kind of similar that was used for stretching webbing on antique chairs... could be very wrong though :D

    Congrats on your first sale. Not surprised the guys chuffed so would I be .... goodjob Love the Canadian belt knife style of knives. Know what you mean about being hard to part with something you've made but I'm really slow at making stuff :rolleyes::D

    anyone know where to source 2" hook and loop in Olive?

    Funny I've just backed two patches with 50 mm OD Velcro and stuck them on my day sac today. Seems to work well enough and looks great :cool:. Never thought of doing the same for a jacket though :bluThinki ...next diy job me thinks.

    Had a really enjoyable time , a big thanks to all for being so welcoming . Going to have to brush up on my Monty-Python though :D. First time using the hammock in anger and loved it despite the cold ,was as warm toast :). Here's a slide show of pics :

    Nice pic SS :D. I was at the Perth one and really enjoyed it :) . I agree, not as much content as the last one I attended but still good, the host could have been better perhaps someone more into Bushcrafty stuff perhaps.
