    Apple Spoon

Good looking. Really clean design. I have a fondness for Apple, it was the first wood I spooned with, from a tree on my folks garden.

    I’ve started smoking again

I don't need to, but it's better on scrambled with chives. GREAT in risotto or on a tomato, smoked bacon and pepper pasta. Poached eggs need only black pepper and salt.

    I’ve started smoking again

I dug my ProQ out a few weeks back and did some mature cheddar and grana padano and whole garlic, using my Weber-esque kettle BBQ as the smoke box. Cherry wood was all I had though, and it's not my favourite. Still, did well.

Love cooking. Stuck for what to make...

I second the Maeploy pastes, their Massaman especially! Also, I like to do a katsu curry with some similar chipshop curry type powder. I use chicken goujons and sometimes fish fingers. Gets the young lad eating too. This weekend I cooked up a smashing Japanese slow cooked pork shoulder...

So what do you all drink these days?

I still like a good dark & unspiced rum, bit have also enjoyed a German brandy lately (arguably a bit roo much at my last camp out!). Also love a nice ale, porter and a crisp German larger or dark Belgian. Not a fan of the heavily flavoured and or goppin' over hopped craft stuff. Basic...
