Yeah I have tried various versions of the 97 and the only time I liked it more than the break barrel hw’s was when I put it in a 77 stock! Have a tuned up (still legal) 80k but it’s a tank to carry so bought a .177 95k love the weight and feel just dont like .177 hence looking for a .22 version.

Yeah they are good especially with the aluminium core base holding the heat well but family has now out grown two of them and I carry a massive mild steel one now instead.
