I have a cheap normal daysack that I use for walking/hiking, filled with a days gear it only weighs a little more than my 5.11 clamshell type pack does empty.
The 5.11 pack is great if you are not carrying it far or as a macho handbag but all the zips and buckles do make it a bit too heavy to...

Is that just a problem when they release a new model? The PRS10 has been out some time and the initial rush must have subsided by now. I dont remember a problem and I was one of the early buyers.
Check out the Pecista PRS 10 from Time Factors.

Top quality, excellent spec and good price.
Had a great time this weekend and went home totally stress free.
It was the most enjoyable Lords Wood/ North wood meet I have been too, a combination of the great company and the end of lock down!
Particular thanks to Steve for organising everything, Dave for taking the P at every...
I reminds me of those toggle style plasterboard fixings. It will go through a hole but not come out again.
Maybe for manipulating netting or mesh of some kind.

I have a Hennesey (zip) with the foam mat insert, I find it far more comfortable than my DD Hammock which my Daughter now uses.
As my daughter does not tend to come along when it is cold I pinch the DD UQ and hang it under my Hennesey - complete with foam matt. Lovely and toastie :) I just...
Me and a mate climbed right to the top of a tree like that, we must have been 13. My mate took a dump at the top, which we thought extremely funny - until we started back down! :)
Must be a big garden Stew?
Time flies, I bet that was 4 or more years ago now! She still comes out occasionally on canoe trips and to the North/Lords Wood meets. Too far for you I guess?
We moved house recently and whilst house hunting both myself and my daughter had 'hammock trees' high on our list of priorities. We wanted 3+ bedrooms and 3+ trees:) Unfortunately suitable gardens were few and far between and we had to compromise on trees.
What we did get was one of those...
Without being able to see or hear it on your video I would guess at a Skylark.
At this time of year they will hold position in the sky and twitter away endlessly, eventually dropping into the field
Do we have the option of camping in the copse Steve?
I might be able to pursuade (how do you spell it!) Hannah to come if we can, she is not so keen on the dark woods :-)
