The newer Quansheng is now taking over Baofeng sales. Ali Express U.K. is doing some fantastic deals on them. I just received my UV-K5(8) for £6.83 + delivery ! Much nicer radio to use and program.

I’ve used all the different makes for both maintenance and grounds work. For cordless I’d go with Husqvarna for grounds and Makita for maintenance.

I have a 2004 XT225 which is nice and light. If I was to buy new now it’d be a KTM300 for sure

If it’s for the table then I’ve no problem with it. But I now think that catch and release is just torturing them. It’s the reason I packed it in. It seems that as fish are mute we don’t think the same as we would with other animals. Although I respect everyone’s right to think differently ;)
