    Trekmates Flameless Cook Box?

Beyond the beaten track do flameless heater meals. As a DofE leader, I get a whopping 40% off. Similar to the MRE heaters. 12mins to heat a pouch.

    Which drybag?

What will it contain ? Is it a day bag that needs opened whilst in the canoe ? Or is it for lining a rucksac ? Lomo do very cheap bags from a6 size up to 100ltrs. Vango also do quality but expensive ones.

Outdoor providers for people with disabilities

You could probably easily access the first parachute/camp fire area too. I was there the last two days on a 'Leave No Trace' trainer course. Great setup there, Impressed. The composting toilet at the first site had steps.

Gareloch canoe and flatbread on the bbq

Fog burnt off the Clyde Gareloch on Sunday at lunch, so an easy paddle and Easter egg snack was had. Then some flatbread cooked on the BBQ. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8753/17043949685_e4a3f59ac4_o_d.jpg

Kayak and canoe on Loch Lomond

The Aldochlay layby was full of roof racked cars and we saw 3 or more hammocks slung just at the south side of the narrows, no campers present though. We went round Inchconnachan and Inchmoan and only saw one open boater. Cracking dry weather. Quite foggy just now, in Helensburgh 3 miles from...

    Mountain Bike + Camp

The beauty of the BOB trailers is that it will follow the bike wherever you go. The only real restriction is the width. So if you can fit the handlebars through a gap in trees then the trailer will fit. It does not really effect the performance of the bike and you have a back free of kit. They...

    Mountain Bike + Camp

You need to get a B.O.B trailer. I assessed a DofE Silver group who spent three days touring the Cairngorms, epic stuff, great trailers.
