    Home Security Cameras on Amazon

You have a duty to retain the image for no longer than necessary which is why most systems overwrite after a period of days. He could ask to see the image and he could ask for it to be deleted but not much else. Most systems come with signage (even just a sticker) that inform any persons...

    First aid kit

HSE kits are generally sized in the amount of people it will serve. You can pick up a 21-50 people HSE kit for under £20. For a communal kit I’d go basic, then stick a box of plasters alongside as these are the most used items

    Old Fashioned Truck Stops

As said above, the situation has changed because the demand has changed. With modern comfortable trucks and cars the need to stop frequently has diminished. The trucks I’ve seen have air con, heat, fridges, microwaves etc. add up the price of coffee and food and you are eating into your wage...

    Home Security Cameras on Amazon

Passersby in a public place aren’t a concern, you could stand there and look at people and the privacy issue is the same. Residential properties are more of an issue. You can’t have a camera that looks into someone’s address or private residence. Most camera have zones allowing you to ignore...

    Ridiculous leniency

From the legal side the law is absolute, possession of an over powered air weapon is an offence, the individual could of course raise a defence of “I didn’t know” etc. It’s the same for cars or motorbikes with de-restricted pipes or modifications, has anyone ever taken their vehicle for a full...

    Ridiculous leniency

The CS gas is also a s5 firearm. Both the knuckle duster and baton are offensive weapons, the law changed a little while ago banning ownership even in the home. Must be more to this

    Heavy lifting, -shipping issues

There is 1000kg in a metric tonne. So 100 boxes at 10kg each

    Ridiculous leniency

Possession of a firearm is usually a 5 year mandatory sentence. A stun gun, working or not is classed as a s5 firearm. The fact that this stayed in the mags and wasn’t referred to crown suggests that there is more to the story, such as a vulnerability or other issue.

    Kitchen Knives

Another thumbs up for the Victorinox. The small paring knives cost about £8 for two, I use them daily. I have their santuko’s and carving knives too, pretty much my go to every meal. I fancy one of the butchers/steak knives but don’t eat enough meat to justify it just yet. My mother in law...

Hussifs; show us your hussifs :)

In my outdoors kit I have safety pins of various sizes, a couple of buttons, needles including a large curved one, heavy duty thread for kit and lighter stuff for clothing as well as a couple of patches of cotton for patching. At home I have a small tin with more sewing kit and another tin of...

    British Army ECW Mittens, Inner(?)

The outers are a pure MVP material with rubber grippy dots on the palms for grip. They protect the inner mitt from wet and damage in extremely cold climates.

Sorry if I’ve missed something but don’t you work at the living history place? I’ve always found it depends on the job you are going for as to the format. LinkedIn is very popular I believe

So whos getting lots of snow, and who's out in it?

Had a decent covering at midnight (West London) but closely followed by a burst of heavy rain that turned everything to slush. Fog and more slush in Bucks.

What to do with partially boggy land?

I’ve used pallets on a muddy allotment and they do work, they become quite slippery in the wet/mud though so a topper of chicken wire helps.

What to do with partially boggy land?

I understand your desire to get going. You can learn from others mistakes too, there’s probably a god reason why the land has not been used for anything productive. It’s a bit like the big builders who build on flood plains, then get flooded. That field wasn’t called the wet field for no...
