Quite right Dan. And not just for anyone starting out either. It'll keep you going for ages. I use a Classic 2 myself, which is the same in most respects, just a bit longer blade I think.

Mind you Chris, Sargey showed me that exact method at Bushmoot a few months ago, and my Mora Classic & others have never been so sharp. Very cheap & easy too, though admittedly it's harder to source a mouse mat these days.

I'm still interested, but the reality is that I only ever can make it down two or three times a year, what with family commitments. I'm grateful to Dave and others who have made these meets happen for some years now. Sent from my E2003 using Tapatalk
