I saw Fergus do a talk in the Bushcraft magazine stand too and I like the look and smell of the powder. He also gave some Ramson bulbs out and I've got it on the side in the kitchen and have a smell every time I'm near it-Lovely.

This is me last night hollowing out mine. it's smaller than I'd like but we haven't had loads of snow and I've really had to (literally) scrape the snow together. I stopped last night due to bad light and to dump some of the scraped snow on the top to both refreeze and increase the height a bit...
Interesting version. there seems to be so many different ways to make the same thing. I cook them down in orange juice, add some finely chopped rosemary, a shot of port, and then add some seedless raspberry jam to sweeten and thicken.
