I recently used a hemline iron on repair patch on a jacket (not paramo) that worked brilliantly. If it's possible to get to the back of the hole it might be an option but probably worth checking that it can be ironed on to the polyester shell of a paramo. Amazing jackets and I love mine...just...

I think you'll find the reason we pass on the left was to accommodate right-handed sword users on horseback and this was changed in Europe due to a left handed king.... but I'll stand corrected on that one. Sent from Somerset using magic

Yep, i'm well aware of a cost implication and having owned firearms for the last 30yrs am also aware that most are for right handers. I've never owned a left handed gun mainly because they generally cost more, which again is wrong in my opinion. Although not a disability concessions are made...

I think that's aweful...there's more about being left handed than forcing people to do things right handed. In my opinion left handers should be catered for but it seems to be one of the last acceptable forms of discrimination. Sent from Somerset using magic

Left handed (and left dominant eye) for more or less everything apart form a sword (making me the ultimate fighting machine... pistol in the left hand sword I my right [emoji23]) and tools that I have to use right handed ie: chainsaw, scissors etc. Sent from Somerset using magic

Yup...bilhook sounds like the tool for you. I have a straight one that I use for all the above as well as a couple of hooked ones bit for me the straight one is more versatile. Can't remember what pattern it's called tho' Sent from Somerset using magic
