Transportation I think , we should try and cut down on how much transportation is needed to get some (obviously not all goods) to our doors shops etc .
For instance I can bet our bags for life even if cotton are made in China or similar.

Takes me right back to when you had to wait for the catalogue to arrive then sive through the items tin mug, Berghaus rucksack etc then write it all down on paper slip it in an envelope along with the money post and wait .
I fully agree , plastic is a great product we just need to limit it's use and learn to recycle it properly.
It's true what you say about the tyres , car tyres are the most polluting item on a vehicle as modern Euro 6 engines put much less pollution out than older engines .
Even electric cars...
The guy who invented the plastic carrier bag did so to create a reusable bag as we were felling way to much forest to supply the demand for wood to make paper for bags
