When I joined I was still fairly active but nearly 20 years later age has slowed me down so I very much value the vicarious experience that members ' trip reports provide me. They remind me of many of the things used to do and frequently trigger happy memories.

I use a Decathlon haversac. It was very cheap, is last OK and has well organised inner pockets and external mesh bottle pockets. Its main advantage for me is that because of its thin fabric it goes fully loaded with my EDC into my main pack for longer trips and can be pulled out for side trips...
