I use an electric lighter for the woodburner. It's handy as if it runs out, jus tplug it in for a bit. I doubt I would choose it for outdoors use on it's own as it can take some skill to use well, depending on what you're lighting. After I ran out of the wax and wood fire lighters, I've taken to...
I have a couple of mesh tops for under paddling kit. Seems to work well enough for me, though they stay hidden!! I decided to try it after listening to Andy Kirkpatrick. He has some very definite views.
I’ve just done a search and this probably summarises it but he probably waffled a lot more...
Does batoning really dull the blade more than just using it? I’ve never noticed but it may be I just hadn’t thought about it.
I’ll go a step further - I’ll baton with a folder if needed. There’s a good technique for it. Realistically, I don’t worry about what others like me doing. My stuff and...
It shows you a route that you could take though.
A tenner for the mora (or probably some more these days)
Stainless from a maker will be pricey. I would think HillBill would be better to guide it but I would think it would be upwards of £50-£60 at least (if you’re lucky).

Just thought of this thread as I put a handful of chicken carcasses in the pressure cooker a few hours ago. Popped it open and so tempting to just drink it!! Smells and looks so good.
I’ve managed an orbit. The first time I ran out of fuel to get back in but the periopas (?) was under 70km so I eventually landed after many orbits.
I think it could do with a slight little bit more guidance early on - I’ve only just found career contracts last night but had to google it...
Have you tried the technique where you pinch the end of the shell off where there’s the air bubble then put the egg to your lips and blow hard? The shell pops off.
I first saw that demonstrated by a chef where I used to work.
On eggs that were going out to guests.
I never ate hard boiled...
Yep.
Admittedly a third (ish) are on the inside so doesn’t fall into the same rules but that’s still more than ‘is allowed’ from that.
I’m close to getting another unit to give capacity for another batch.
Interesting. 2015 though so I’m hoping it’s somewhat outdated now. I had 64 cameras installed at work over the last year and barely any would meet that criteria….
