    Which gas stove?

Hi folks, You may remember in an earlier thread I was wondering about which liquid fuels were popular with our stoves. I just cannot get on with the smell from them. I put unleaded petrol in my msr dragonfly tonight and the smell is not impressive. So i've decided to get a cannister gas...

    Favourite fuel for your stove?

Is there much of a smell with the petrol, Stew? Oh, where would you go to get some Coleman White Gas as a little trial? Mark

    Favourite fuel for your stove?

Hi folks, I've got an MSR Dragonfly. Up until this week it was never used :o but now that the ice is broken, I've took a real shine to it. Anyway, I put some Kerosene in it and the flame worked fine but I don't fancy the smell. So what do you use in your multi-fuel stoves? Mark

    A bit of handy cooking?

I know that eggs can go off quickly, but as I said above we're not out on a long winded affair - just out for the day and a bit of craic where they're safe for all the time we're going to be away. Here's another mix I make up a lot , even at home - no laughing allowed  Crushed...

    A bit of handy cooking?

Bannock is indeed nice. I like eggs myself - usually scrambed to the (very difficult to achieve properly) stage of really badly burnt - and then with lots of pepper :D Mark

    Some fixed blades for sale.

This has to be one of the longest winded sales threads i've been involved in, so in keeping with that style - what about my traditional wee Nordic scandi knives too. Here they are pictured below (top right bunch on the shelf) I might as well show them off, too :lmao: Now, we're off for a...

    Some fixed blades for sale.

Indeed it is, Red. I'm nearly obsessive about caring for personal articles such as knives and fishing reels. My knives are dried and ren waxed after every outing and put on the shelf where you see them and the sheaths are cleaned and labelled so that I can reach for the one needed without a...

    Some fixed blades for sale.

Fantastic blade on the Ritter, Lawrence, but I think that the handle could have been a bit thicker as it tends to break away from your hand easily when slicing and that's a pet hate of mine. If it wasn't for that great deep blade I'd nearly move it on ;) Mark

    Barkriver Northstars and a Foxriver

Hi folks. I was going to do a modification on these but reckon it would make more sense to sell or trade them. I have three up for grabs so here's an end of year offer. All three are now sold. 1. A Fox River. Thuja burl mosaic pins - boxed new. £45. 2. A Northstar. Amboyna burl mosaic pins -...
