I'm with SCOMAN on this one. I have a TECSUN PL330 and its excellent (FM,MW,LW and SW) and has ok sound quality for its size. Its tiny but really does a good job and being so small and light it isn't a burden to carry around.

Thing is there are so many good quality packs out there and its really up to the user as to what they think is best fit for them . The Savotta I have is a single compartment top loader, I love the robustness and simplicity but I wouldn't turn down a couple of compartments for organizing stuff.

Savotta is always a good bet for robust packs and they have a large range of sizes,colours and styles. Mine gets trashed around the place and is still alive.

Nemo Disco spoon shaped bags are pretty roomy, it comes in two sizes although it doesn't have a center zip. I have one and it seems very roomy to me but im not on the large side .

I'm with DD99 on this one the Jääkäri 20L is an excellent daypack, all of the kit I've seen from Savotta is top quality.

Folders: synthetic makes more sense so you can really give it a good submerge and clean in soapy water. Fixed blades: not sure why but for me natural materials go with carbon steel and synthetics with stainless.

Hello and to answer your question the US army camp cots are pretty good and along with a decent insulating mat you should have a comfy bed.
