    EDC Pens?

I’ve never trusted myself to have an expensive pen as they get abandoned or lost too easily for me. I do like the tombow airpress though. Price is reasonable, I like the stubby grip, always having ink there because of the pump is great, clip is smart too. I should pick another one up! I also...

    guy line tensioners

I have. No real issue but where I’ve wanted that more permanent I’ve also changed it to tie off the line lok at the tarp so it stays in the same position, if that makes sense?

    Jerusalem Artichoke

Cubed, coated in a bit of oil then air fryer. Great, if somewhat windy. Blitzed into soup seems to break the inulin down to a lesser effect b

Why I hate (most) modern torches

Yep, it’s such an idiot move. I don’t understand why it’s a thing.

    guy line tensioners

My preference is for line loks. Simple and very effective. https://www.clamcleat.com/applications/industrial/camping.html

    Homemade canoes?

I think there’s a certain level of subjectivity with which someone likes more than another. I matched grain left to right on my sup and surfboard. It’s not too tricky.

    Homemade canoes?

I’ve made my own SUP - hollow wood strip wood. I then repeated the process to improve it but built a surfboard. I filmed that one more thoroughly than the SUP. I’ll find the footage. I’ve always fancied making a strip wood Canadian canoe but am realistic that I wouldn’t use it or have the...

    Kitchen Comparisons.

I’m not going to watch the video (well, probably not) but have to say I was very happy with the price, quality and service of my DIY kitchens order! I would (and have) recommend.

Big choppers and a few small sharps..

Please also destroy it or hand it into a police station. That’s one of those where it’s completely illegal to own in this country.

Big choppers and a few small sharps..

Yep, that’s what it would be classed as here. Just destroy it! Not worth the risk.

    buy or build a shed?

Thinking about it the opposite way, if I made a shed from scratch using the size of materials used in commercial sheds, I just couldn’t do it. They serve a purpose but they’re not great. My wife wasn’t happy with how long it took to make my shed and repeatedly said that we should have bought...
