Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

There seems to be a main difference, here the law is supposed to be written in way that one can decide beforehand what is legal or not, not decide later on by ignorant court. And no it does not work like that all the time, there are laws that nobody reading it knows what it means , not even the...

Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

I see you are not familiar with the so called knife gloves or Savate shoes ... I don't trust any court to be able to do that properly. (This concerns Finland only: some years ago I think a researcher gathered some statistics about attacks and fights, what came out was really strange and to say...

Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

If one takes the wording that means that if one has gloves on when defending oneself or uses an umbrella to push the assailant they are "offensive weapons". How about your hands? Or if you kick the bugger, your shoes are weapons. Kind of leads to that one cannot defend oneself.

    Uralic hunter. bouncing arrow

Some years ago a few hobbyists tested those against some floating rubber ducks with somewhat terminal results. I became a believer after seeing their short video on it.

    Ripstop Nylon

While polyamide ("Nylon") is tougher than polyester due to much greater breaking strain it's main drawback is sensitivity to UV radiation. Not that it falls apart instantly but noticeable faster than polyester, have seen that on old glider parachutes. The other negative feature is that it...

    No right to roam.

There is an example of a different system that works in the nordic countries. Admittedly, the average population density is a LOT less than UK's. The rules are fairly clear on what is allowed what is not, generally they work.

Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

Only if you change the meaning between the two weapons. I must say that I totally disagree.

Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

This is strictly not true as an example shows: would you really consider a targe and a sword equivalent both in attack and defense.

I prefer rapiers but auto pistols at 50m is always an option. :D

Maybe you have to tell your lawyers to use dictionaries! ;)

Bushcraft tools that could be classed as weapons?

Now this apparently is partly a question of semantics; "weapon" in legalize means a purpose built thingy and something that is used as. Or so I have been told. Also apparently "offensive" weapons exist but not "defensive" ones, a major lack of logic.

    what Budget knife recommendations

I think somewhere on this forum is an x-ray pic of several cheap knives, that very well shows the length of the tang on various models. I also don't think it matters all that much on a practice knife, survival would be more than slightly different. There Leka's Jääkäripuukko is a good first...

    Kelly Kettle got bashed?

It all depends but for the basic grades SS is at the moment cheaper than Al. I wouldn't expect that to affect much as I have a feeling that manufacturing is by far the most expensive stage.
