When I was reading about stick making many moons ago. The writer said he always used a pva glue/water mix on paracord and to this day whenever I use paracord in any sort of whipping I still do that. Works a treat. The water stops it drying white and the glue holds it all together.
But I still...
I already have an axe wrapped in paracord with a small section of bicycle tyre on bottom to hold it all together - that works well.
I have one with no guard at all and theres chunks missing - they definitely offer good protection.
Dont take offence but I'm not after opinions this time around...
Anyone know where I can get one from, if there is such a thing. Or, the best fitting type?
Any makers here that can knock one up for me.
I have the Hultafors Trekking Axe with the 44cm handle.

Just checking, I'm sure it is but is ash food safe?
I have a project coming up (lockdown permitting!) which involves cooking meat on a kind of lattice using debarked green ash shoots. I'm saying ash because I know there is an abundance of ash in the area I'll be going too.

I've made a few of my own of varying sizes but I've used a synthetic leather...
I got the one from Amazon including the extra battery, 32gb card and the shorty. Not that I'm impatient but that was quickest delivery I could find [emoji23]
Not ordered any of the mods yet though. I'll knock up a video without first and see how it sounds - with sound being the main bug bear...
Just hovering over the buy button as we speak! If I get it I shall report back with my opinion and maybe a brief review.
Thanks all for responses.
