The Terava Jaakaripukko 140 might be something you would like, I got the small 85 version by having it delivered to a friend living in EU.

    Modified my Lionsteel M4.

You must have some serious set of tools to be able to do all those changes, especially considering the M390 steel.

    Joker Bushlord

It looks nice, but they already have a very similar model called Nordico.

Around £80 for the small one and £100 for the others would be more in line with the quality you are getting and the competition (Condor, TBS, Joker). Even Chinese made knives are around £100 nowadays.

Sheath for my Alex Bantam knife?

Doesn’t Victorinox make these? I’m sure I saw them on Amazon, all sizes, usually leather, but nylon too.

The small one Finn, is £150 at Springfields. Still a lot more for what you get, considering a Lionsteel with micarta handle and better steel is about £130.

£190 for the Wit and cleaver. That‘s a lot, especially when they don’t specify the steel. I think they want to move upmarket, like Seiko did a few years ago.

This looks great. The blade design is a bit different at the top, a lot nicer then the current ones.

    quest for a new knife

It‘s hard to say which one is better without a head to head test in the real world. On paper the Tungsten in the VG7 should give it a bit more wear resistance vs the VG10, but not sure if that will translate in normal use.

I agree. I have a Joker Trampero, the Kephart design, it was £75, I couldn’t believe the quality when it came.

    quest for a new knife

From the proposed I have the Mora Garberg in carbon steel. it is great for the money, tough steel and very easy to sharpen. You would probably want the 14C28N version, which is a great steel. Also I just though I should mention that the F1 is not made in VG10 anymore, they switched to VG7 and...

They can’t be as cheap as that, the Garberg is around £80 and it has a moulded plastic handle. The Hickory handle is not only more expensive to make, but also require manual assembly.

Those are RRP prices, they should be available for less once they hit the shops. If we look at the price of the Garberg, on the site they say 1300 KR, which is £103, but you can buy it for around £70-£75. Also I suspect the steel is Sandvik 14C28N.
