    Bear Bowl - Folding Pot

I'd be interested to see how it copes. Would be easy to pack but like you said probably not much of a weight saving.

    February Moot 2018 - Cancelled

Apologies this has gone quiet, we've had issues getting the site we wanted to use. We are looking at a couple of others. How would people feel about the New Forest as a location?

Power banks and external mobile phone batteries

Had a couple of cheaper high capacity powerbanks from eBay in the past and I've not found that they've last long. Currently using a 26800mAh Ravpower, I've been quite impressed so far, it came to Finland for a week and regularly gets used on weekends away. This is it...

Correct birch bark for fire starter?

Silver Birch works well although the Silver Birch in the UK isn't a patch on that in Finland, I was amazed at the difference.

    or Trade, Tilley hat

If it helps to sell it, I have two Tilleys the original style and a waxed cotton for when it's raining and I love them both, would definitely replace if I lost them. Having owned numerous hats over the years the Tilleys have been the only ones that I really recommend now, almost indestructable...

    Dry bags?

Depends somewhat on whether you want lightweight or heavy duty, I have several of the silnylong exped ones and they really are good. I have just bought a couple by Osprey to try as well. My favourite at the moment are the Seallines, much heavier but really robust.

+1 Alpkit Hunka, had mine a while now and still going strong.

    PHD or Alpkit sleeping bag?

I've not tried the Alpkit bags although I know people that like them, however I do own 2 x PHD bags and they're truly excellent. I think if you can stretch to them they'd be my first choice.
