You can get the same stove for £10;

I have one and it works well if you can find a bit of dry wood.

One of the either 1st of 2nfd gen rab vapour rise smocks from when i was about 19ish, it was a bit big then but fits nicely now in a large. Gets worn most days every winter and often in summer.

For a few nights out im comfortable with a berghaus centurio with side pouches. If i pack light during summer i get get my kit + food into a munro daysack easy.
Its much better to have a larger pack and have a bit of empty space than a small pack full to bursting.
Never trust a pack to be...
Ahh but iodine doesn't give that interesting fizzing sensation and look right before the pain hits, you put it on, see it fiz a bit and think this isnt so bad. That changes quickly.
Its good that you know where on the feet your prone to blistering, next time a bit of tinc benz onto clean skin...
Sealskins are good for standing about but i wouldnt want to walk any distance in them, hold far too much sweat in.
Get some tinc benz on the blisters, it wont sting at all, i swear.

I can't say for certain but i bet those removal blankets would be too thin to provide any real warmth, probably better getting one that was made for sleeping under and just accept that it'll cost more. A good nights sleep is worth it.

I keep a roughneck mini spade in the back of the car. Only cost about £10 but better for digging than any folding job I've ever used.
If your planning on needing to move snow you really need a proper snow shovel with a large blade. Google "avalanche shovel" and a load of ones will pop up with a...
There's a dilution calculator here;
http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/chemistry/stockroom-reagents/learning-center/technical-library/solution-dilution-calculator.html
I think it would be quite simple however, since you have a 12% concentration if you wanted 6% you could just add 60ml of water...
You could fit the tent in a bag as suggested and fill it with water, let it soak for a day, will probably drown them.
If you drop a bit of permethrin it'll get them all easy. Then just dry the tent out.

Clothing is down to personal choice really but for a night out with a bit of hillwalking in winter for me would be;
Base Layers;
- Underarmour heatgear shorts
- Hellyhansen base layer (from screwfix)
- Pair of sondico long johns (sports direct i think)
- 2 pairs socks (thick and thin)...
Another vote for the lamina by mountain equipment;

Personally i'd avoid down for UK winter weather since its likely to get damp if your out for a few nights, especially if you join us up in...
Your probably thinking of permethrin, which kills them when the walk on treated fabric. Its nasty stuff however when not diluted so you would need to be careful handling it.

I used a wire brush on a drill to get the majority of the rust off then finished with a brillo pad. I season all my iron and steel pans with lard, after cooking they get a wipe with plain veg oil. Works very well but i only relay use them for steak or other meat and for cooking over the fire...
