I see them pretty much everyday by the brook and surrounding marshland where I walk the dog.
Sometimes see them standing motionless in the fields half a dozen of them at a time within a few metres of one another.
It’s a bird watchers paradise round here, not just with some of the rarer birds...
Im looking for the Rolls Royce of U.K. plant ID books, something really quite comprehensive with high quality photos, detailed descriptions and one that covers a large number of what we can expect find in the wild and in our gardens. Doesn’t have to cover fungi.

Mora Garberg with multi-mount system - most of it (aside from the sheath) is unused.
This has only seen very light use and still has the factory edge with the micro-bevel. Ive owned a few of these and this one has a particularly even bevel.

Oh while I’m at it, a SAK Alox solo and a blade with magnacut, Elmax, M390, LC200N, VG-10…. Really any half decent stainless and not that crumby steel they keep using as their main blades that you have to touch up after every day.
The Esee Izula 2 Was my most carried and used fixed blade for a while.
Perfect overall size - unobtrusive worn round the neck or in the pocket, had excellent neutral ergonomics and had a blade size that was just about ideal for a lot of my outdoor pursuits.
