    Waxed trousers

Some food for thought here, cheers chaps, pun intended Mark! Should have said I'm aware of weight gains in fabric,I do have experience with waxed garments. Would never do a Bergen myself. The thought for this was sat at the base of a tree for extended periods in winter, no physical exertion...

    Waxed trousers

Talk me out of them please... I'm a big fan of the right kit for the right job. I fully realise waxed trousers are usually the wrong kit for any job! I can't help but want to wax a pair of brown Dickies carpenter trousers I have. I'm thinking they'd work well in the cooler months with a set...

    Swannie Waterproof Lining

They're waterproof but you're left with a heavy wet wool shirt/jacket that's waterproof but has no hood. This might work well if you wear one of those leather bushcrafty hats or if you're like me it won't do what you want it to. Just depends what you're after really.

I've got a Canadian penny from 1876 in my wallet at all times, belonged to my dad. Minted 100 years before I was born lolz. I'll pass it on to my son some day if I don't lose it. Must have passed through a few hands by now...

Twodogs wool bush shirt made to order ...

Love the two tone. Tempted to source some tweed and have one made but I already own far too much wool. As they say in Tunisia, cheaper than Asda mate...top job Cliff!

Get your beards out for the girls

Half way through my last attempt, I never remember to get a pic of a beard in full flow... I enjoy straight razor shaving far too much to grow beards more than a couple months at a time.
