well my sabre 45 arrived and it looks very nice so far. I could not get the matching side poutches in the typhon cam but I can confirm that army plce poutches do fit if you had any doubts. my only niggle is I wish it a side mesh pocket that would stop kit sliding out if you used the side...

im sure they do have there uses. But I bought them thinking they would be handy but I had no real plan for them they just looked cool and I still don't really have a good use for them. So in my case they were a little bit wasteful. I my intension for the thread was to list kit you wasted money...

I thought a Thermometer might be useful and may help me gauge at what temperatures my kit works well at. I could record the max and min night temperature for example and note how comfortable I was. It may help me not to over or under spec my gear. it may also work during the day for testing...

It does look like a good tent it may even be big enough for me and my son to squeeze into but I have nor been able to find any at that price I think you got a real bargain there. Even at full price I may be tempted it is very light weight and I could carry this and do without the tarp and bivy...

I have been looking to make myself more comfortable (getting older) at night. but I still need kit that is light enough to carry I saw the exped down and syn matts and they looked promising although expensive. Any thoughts? can anyone recommend warm comfortable but compact matts/beds
