Heads up - Post office not sending sharps after 22nd April

Come on! Stopping people shipping pen knives, multitools, bushcraft knives etc. will contribute to a significant reduction in knife crime? How is it that people are always willing to sacrifice their rights to laws and rules that are poorly thought out and implemented.

Heads up - Post office not sending sharps after 22nd April

I think it’s the same approach, similar to how they treat gun owners. We can’t fix the problem of knife crime or gun crime so instead let’s tighten the rules that affect law-abiding citizens so we can appear to be doing something. And Joe muppet who opens wide to swallow every bit of BS the...

Heads up - Post office not sending sharps after 22nd April

I know it’s a bit of scaremongering, in a way. But I’m not sure conscription is such a bad idea getting these little gobshites off the streets and giving them some discipline.

Heads up - Post office not sending sharps after 22nd April

Well looks like I’m going to have a clear out before this kicks in. This is a complete pain. Firstly because these forums and the UK in general has been a great place to buy and try and then move on, at not to significant a loss, if needed. Secondly because the Irish government and state bodies...

    Slingbow legal in UK?

But I bought mine on a whim and I think the price is a bit saucy. Not for what you get but for what it ultimately is, if you get me. A hybrid which does neither job very well. The speed and accuracy of a slingshot with lead ammo or a recurve shot with sights or string walking. So I’d still...

    Slingbow legal in UK?

The slingbow arrow bands are designed with a small loop that will allow the use of a wrist or finger release. I’ve just looked at my carter releases and believe the jaws would fit fine. As usual YouTube is a handy resource.

Hi all, Just checked this and set to record. Looks like it is on at 6.30pm but on Monday the 5th not Wednesday the 7th. Bit of fishing fist episode by the looks of it which suits me just fine :)

You can watch Talking Pictures TV on Virgin 445, Freesat 306, Freeview or Youview 82 or on the Sky digital satellite platform, channel 328. Just checked and we have it over here, looking forward to that now.

    Slingbow legal in UK?

Look at proshot in the UK. I bought the simple shot to try. I have it but haven’t given it a go. Can be used as a standard bow as well. However it’s expensive. For a potentially cheaper option look at a 3d printed one where you glue in a whisker biscuit .

    Best EDC Prybar?

Just ordered two. More for the small ruler than anything else. Fingers crossed it's reasonably accurate.
