Running DIY WoodStove over night in a small cabin & safety issues

Came across this youtube video. The presenter makes his own woodstove, and runs it over night in his small cabin while sleeping in it. Would it be safe in doing so? The woodstove seems huge, and not fully sealed for the smoke either.

    YOYTi. (Why titanium?)

I have read many folks don't like sporks. I tried my SS spork eating the grilled chicken wings and rice. It worked quite well. I like sporks. I have not tried any Ti cups, bowls and pots. If they change taste of drinks and food, then it shall be big No No. My Ti chopsticks don't change...

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

Would imagine alcohol or gas stoves would be far lighter, practical and convenient than any wood stoves for carrying in the backpack.

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

Me neither. Could it be the claim that Ti stoves are strong and durable in the sense that they won't corrode, rust or rot away like carbon steel stoves through long period time of uses such as 100+ years or more? Or having been left and stored in the rain and dampness in the outdoors for long...

    YOYTi. (Why titanium?)

The only Ti kit I have and use is a Ti chopsticks. It is paper light, has good balance and control. It is also supposed to be rust free and most durable. I am happy with it. It wasn't also insanely expensive unlike Ti sporks I have seen. Some of the Ti sporks for sale were around 4 - 8 times...

    YOYTi. (Why titanium?)

Here we are to discuss on the kits, how useful they are, their strengths, weakness, and justification for paying more if they are worthy in some respect or better in durability and performance compared to the other kits in the same categories. These points can only be learnt by directly using...

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

Apart from light weight, portablity and foldability , are there other advanatges or points such as strength and durability of titanium stoves over stainless or plain traditional rolled steel ones?

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

I suppose if you use the stoves mainly for back packing and field camping, maybe titanium stoves are worth getting for light weight and foldability. Having read different ideas and points, I can see the point for different options. I was wondering the price difference of average 50% or more...

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

Yeah, that was my initial feeling on Titianium stoves, but was wondering if someone could come up with strong points for justifying their higher cost and hypes :D I still feel that stoves are better with some weight, so they don't get blown over by some strong wind, or get kicked by the camper...

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

I have been looking at some titanium stoves for sale online stores, but couldn't quite see advatange points of them compared to lower cost stainless stoves. They say titanium stoves are stronger than stainless stoves, but they tend to warp more easily than stainless stoves due to thinness of...

Wood Burning Stove Stainless steel vs. Titanium

Which is better? In what ways? What wood burning stove have you? I have an old cast iron type stove (very heavy and rusty) and stainless steel one (lighter, not rusty but tarnished). Titanium stoves seem popular these days. But they are more expensive too. Are titanium stoves worth the extra...

Hot tent set up in the garden but ....

Not sure, if sleeping over night in the tent with the wood burning stove on is OK for safety. This youtuber seems feeling quite comfortable sleeping with the burning wood stove going all through the night.

Hot tent set up in the garden but ....

I can appreciate your concern with the confined space and running wood burning stove in it. But that is why we all try to learn and get better in know-hows on running them with total safety. If there is no such risks involved in the operation, then no one would even mention about it. Now I...

    Car sleeping?

Last time when I saw a Lada was sometime in late 1990s I recall. One of my neighbors used to have one, parked in his driveway.

    Car sleeping?

Yeah, sleeping in a car sounds awfully uncomfortable and restricted, unless in emergency case being trapped in snow storm or something like that. Caravan or tent sound better.

This car looks like an old Russian Lada, and converted for 1x person sleeping.

Hot tent set up in the garden but ....

The youtube presetner in above video seems to have managed to cook his dinner, had the dinner, and spent a night in the hot tent ok without much difficulties. For myself, I am only trying to learn about it before actually trying the hot tent, maybe this winter, if all seems ok.

Hot tent set up in the garden but ....

This tent in the yotube video is exactly the same tent as mine. The presenter is using a lot smaller (maybe the smallest) wood stove, and it seems working OK. My large stove is about 4 times larger than the one in the video. My 2nd wood stove which is old, is about twice larger than the one...

Hot tent set up in the garden but ....

In the past, I was thinking in that way too, but then there are many folks who are running hot tents all the time through the year without any problems.

Yeah I might try to get a photo or two and upload here. I am moving a lot of large plants today, and it will be a hard days work. I will jump into the tent for sitting down and having some cold drinks when I need rest under the shade in the middle of the work.
