Spices are often overlooked in peoples plans for self reliance but food without herbs and spices is dour bland stuff.
Our latest video looks at how to grow & use a useful range of herbs and spices. It's very possible in this country to grow enough to produce a wonderful array of Chinese...
The issue that you face here is that there are two types of loppers, geared and ungeared. Ungeared open the jaws wider but require far more effort to use. Geared can cut more easily but need the handles wider for the same opening in the jaws. I show how this works in the video below
We've seen it and it manifests exactly as you say - even to hens treading other hens. It always seems to happen when there isn't a dominant cockerel and definitely where there is reproductive damage or abnormality
We are huge fans of chickens - they are great fun, hugely productive, cheap to own and easy to care for. We strongly commend them to anyone looking to produce their own food.
There are though some things that we really didn't know when we started chicken keeping years ago and took us by...
It's interesting that Jack Daniels (a "Tennessee Whisky") meets all the definition of bourbon;
At least 51% corn mash bill
Aged at least 2 years
Matured in first use American Oak barrels
Bottled at at least 80 proof.
The only thing that sets JD apart is that it's charcoal filtered.
For me...
Slightly unusual, but for my Bourbon drinking friends, Buffalo Trace is £17.84 right now on Amazon special. Lowest price since 2021.

Generally a decrease in egg frequency rather than quality. Heritage breeds will lay for 6 or more years, but by year 6 it can be 1 a fortnight. Layer breeds like Warrens & Shavers rarely live that long tbh. Moulting can cause egg issues too
It may be worth offering coarse oyster shell to bolster calcium uptake but if the rest of your flock are not having problems it is unlikely to be dietary. Persistent soft shells & infrequent laying is symptomatic of oviduct issues. She may not go off lay permanently but will probably not return...
Hi Dale, the combiner is correct and should connect to the charge controller fine. You may need a number of extension leads to connect the panels to the 4 in 1 depending on how long the supplied leads are but what you are ordering looks fine
Use the 4 in 1 right beside the panels then run a lead from the output to the charge controller. That way you only need 2 times 15m leads rather than 8
