    Hello from Grimsby... Again!

Hi everyone, I've been away from this site for a few years and haven't done any bushcrafty things for a while. I still go up to the highlands every winter but it has turned into more of a walking holiday with a few nights wild camping thrown in. I'm looking to get back into it and learn some...

    boil in the bag... bags

I use those Lakeland bags there pretty tough. I've used normal zip locks before but I was always worried about them splitting with hot water. Its a shame that the Lakeland bags don't have any form of closure but there quite tall so I just roll them up and put some tape over it.

    Source of Sequoia (Redwood)

Hi, I'm looking for a block of Sequoia. Preferably a burl or of the curl variety. It just seems so hard to get hold of in the UK. Does anyone know of any source or am I out of look? Cheers.

    Hello from Grimsby

Hello Everyone, I've been quietly reading this forum for about two years now and have learned a lot and it has inspired me to do things that I would not have though of otherwise. So I thought it was about time I joined in. I make a few knives and do a bit of leather work. Nothing to...
