I'm quite pleased with this although I wish I'd got the hole spacings even. The main body of it is hazel.

Bad news. Today, I found the wasp nest above had been destroyed. It looks so desolate, like what you see in Palestine, just for wasps only. I couldn't bring myself to take a picture. It felt horribly sad. Some ignorant clown just showed up and hit it with a stick.

I have to say they can be right buggers though

We decided to take the children to visit Hardrian’s Wall. I had never been and was so glad we went. It was a really early start to get there from Manchester, but was a lovely drive, followed by a day out at Vindolanda.





This artwork was incredible. It’s made from slivers of deer antler in concentric circles.
