WiFi area extender

I live in a slightly rural area - Broadband ping rate here isn't great.

I'd like to get something that can extend the WiFi I do have to cover the property at all the perimeter - which isn't massive but is enough to lose signal between the router location and where I want to have access - shed , garage , CCTV camera on posts.

So can anyone technical please advise anything out there that can significantly boost and maintain a steady signal. I guess alot of that will be dependent upon the strength and quality of the signal coming in but I'm hoping someone has an informed answer.

I have a dead spot reaching into the garden. As such i use a Linksys power line wi-fi extender. One power line plugs into the mains near my router. The other plugs into a socket on the first floor, in the bedroom that backs onto the garden. Works a treat.

depending on the distance you want to overcome but here are a few options:

1 - there are routers that allow you to increase the power of the wifi signal beyond the standard for a country. (I don't know the law for UK wifi signals, but there are routers that are limited by software settings) Keep in mind, your phone/laptops transmit / receive also an they will become the limiting factor.
2 - there are routers that have a connection for a better external/outdoor antenna
3 - a power line extender but you need power for the extender
4 - a POE (power over ethernet) extender, you can install an extender connected to a UTP cable from your router. (your router needs to be able to deliver POE over the cable)
5 - a standard wifi extender that will log on to your SSID, this will expand the signal but usually at the cost of speed.

This is the unit I fitted into the studio (outside stone and timber building) earlier this year. The distance to the base router is about 35m. It's easy to install and it certainly improves things to a working level, but from 910Mb at the router it drops it to nearer 300 in the studio.

Did you forget to include the Link Broch?? Or are you referencing something from above?

Look at a Deco mesh system. I use it with three units and have reliable WiFi over 2 acres, I'm typing this and watching Netflix and am over 50m and two buildings away from the main router
