I think I have the b version of this stove. It has two tubes under the burner.
Does any one use one and what fuel is recommended. I am reading various things and people or some seem wary of using petrol/ white gas but stick with paraffin even though the b version is designed for petrol etc. thoughts ? I am in the uk

Get your bum over to Classic Camp Stoves. They are a very friendly lot and will give you all the help that you need.

You won’t have access to the deeper archive without membership but look for John, screen name @Presscall. He’s a great bloke and really knows his stuff.

He converted a Coleman (Tilly type) lamp to meths for me so I only carry one fuel.

You’ve probably worked out that NVR is Non Return Valve. I believe that It’s at the bottom of the pump.
I know nothing but I’ve seen that changing the NVR pip looks pretty routine.

@Spiritburner owns the CCS site and also owns The Fettlebox. They sell pips.

Be careful, these stoves and their cousins, the lamps can be addictive, especially if you start taking them apart. :)

I’m only sitting on the fringe of CCS. None of my stoves have any moving parts.

Seems you’ve got yourself a challenge.

I’m not sure that you are getting much help but you can count on the advice.

As Pattree advises, get yourself over to CCS, the pump and NRV need to be working properly. I run mine on Aspen 4T, panel wipe, or brake and clutch cleaning fluid, all of these are Naptha baised. Do not use petrol as it will clog up the works eventually and give off poisonous vapours. I've got a few of this modle but I only run them occasionally. If you want an everyday user, get the paraffin variant, much safer IMHO.

Thanks for all the help folks. I have the tool ordered to whip out the nrv. Got some good YouTube videos saved. Will order a service kit off thefettle box site. Order some fuel and let it rip.
My daughter got it for me sold as working for 50 quid

The tool came today and to my eyes parts look ok ?
I have kit on the way but tempted to get fuel and crank her up

You asked for advice, you've been given good safety advice on two forums, and you're still tempted to add a volatile fuel and light it without testing/servicing? This particular model of stove does need to be used by somebody competent in operation and maintenance.

Thank you for that I have been advised after showing the picture that parts need changing. To the untrained eye they look fine but obviously not. So I will change them they are on the way.
