I did make contact with him a while back he said best option is to sell to the US as the UK will not buy knives of that value.
The knife market has dropped a bit in the US at the moment they are going through similar things to us like bills going up etc. That has happened within a couple of months as I did get offered $4.5k for the Ebony and Gold one.

Wow ! I sold my desert ironwood and 9ct one for £250. That was many years ago though. Wish I kept it now !
