Highlander Forces 55 ltr. any good?

Ok I have now dicided that the size of my new rucksack must be in the 50-55 ltr. range. I'm interested in a Highlander Forces 55. Who's using them and what are the pros and cons? Cheers, Dennis.

    Recommendations for Starter Kit

If you're going to do a lot of rambling don't compromize on boots. I use Lowa Mountain boots, pretty darn expensive but reliable and comfortable, cost about £125 at ROvs. Cheers, Dennis.

    Rucksack size, help needed.

Hmm, I think the consensus is a 50-60 ltr. rucksack....

Is it the SF range you use, because I want my rucksack to be Olive Green. Cheers, Dennis.

    Rucksack size, help needed.

I don't plan to sleep out for starters and I was thinking of a one week trip. I bought an Airjet 35 but it's way too small, I still have an vintage Karrimor Civetta that I think is just a bit too big, I don't mind having a few different rucksacks for different occasions but as said all input is...

    Rucksack size, help needed.

I am puzzled about what size I need for a rucksack to go hiking from one hostel to another for about a week. I haven't been rambling for about 25 years and i want to start out easy again... I will be (wild) camping in the near future but now for starters need a rucksack that will carry the stuff...

    Advice needed on rucksack.

Rich, it's clear I have completely misunderstood the sizing..... I'll have to do some more research... The Karrimor I have is just a bit too large to take on rambling from one place to the other maybe a sack around 55-60 liters will do just for clothing a thermo flask and the usual maps, compass...

    Advice needed on rucksack.

No prob, mate, but I am a bit confused about the sizes... I have an old Karrimor Civetta I always thought was about 60 ltrs and thought a 35 ltrs. rucksack would do for a week rambling from hostell to hostel to start again after 25 years but, I filled up the sack and found that it was too small...

    Advice needed on rucksack.

Received the Airjet 35 today, it's okay but not great for me, it's too small and the waist band sits too high and isn't long enough... I'll have to return it..... Overall quality for the price is good but it's more useful for women and men with a short back. Cheers Dennis.
