My pair used to go out in the all in one suits when they were little. Layers underneath then the zip up suit over the top. I think they were made by Keela. They lasted well because they were handed on to my niece and nephews after. Seemed to work here in "sunny" North Cornwall. Cheers Tim

I would agree with Chris that bamboo takes a while to dry once wet. I guess it is very much a case of horses for courses. Interesting that it takes longer than merino to dry.

Can't comment on Lowa's but have been really impressed with a pair of Hanwags SF leather lined boots that I bought a while back. Really comfy, wear them most days, and I haven't had wet feet yet (been keeping them waxed).
