    I've just bought a bunch for an event on Saturday. They do work well. Also found some from the same event last year, still in date - they store for a good length of time!

    I have no definite idea and just skimming past but I wonder if drysuit repair tape would work. My dry suit is not breathable but I know people who have breathable versions. I expect the tape is the same for both.

    Huh - by chance I used my North Star last night. Definitely on the slimmer end for the handle and the lanyard loop long ground off. Mine was a first production run so a tapered tang which meant that loop was way too thin. I much prefer the handle on my Chris Claycomb custom. Just thought I...

    I've just been looking at what are suitable species to grow and eat. Sunflowers, apparently! I have thousands of saved sunflower seeds. I'm going to have to try that one!!

    I make my own energy balls. I go for discs as it's easier to just use a scone cutter and also makes me happier about storage of them in the freezer where balls are a waste of space.
